Using a student plan with us
If you are a student in Toronto, there is a good chance your tuition already includes dental coverage through your student association, and that you have never used it. Bring your student card and we will find your plan, tell you what it covers, and send the claim ourselves.
A large share of these plans are run by Alumo, the administrator that used to be called Studentcare. Adelaide Dental belongs to Alumo's dental network, and that changes what you pay.

How the network changes your bill
Your plan pays a percentage of each service. As a network member, we then reduce the remainder for you if you are on an Alumo plan:
- Check-ups, x-rays, cleanings and fluoride: reduced by 30 per cent of the fee guide.
- Other treatment, from fillings to crowns: reduced by 20 per cent.
Let us take a cleaning as an example. If your plan pays 70 per cent, the network reduction covers the other 30, and you pay nothing. Where a plan pays less, you pay the difference between the two and the full fee. We will work out your own figures with you before treatment.
Schools on Alumo plans in the 2026-27 year
Scroll down to find your school. Every plan has its own table setting out its yearly limit and, by type of treatment, the share the plan pays, the network reduction and the amount remaining.
The figures are the ones each student association has published. Plans are renewed every September and the details do change, so please treat the tables as a guide, and we will gladly confirm yours.
If your plan is not an Alumo plan
Students at University of Toronto Mississauga, University of Toronto Scarborough, University of Toronto part-time undergraduate, York and Glendon, York graduate, Queen's, McMaster, Sheridan are on plans run by other administrators. You are welcome here too, and we bill those plans directly as well. The network reduction above does not apply to them, so what you pay is whatever your plan does not cover.
Fitting it around classes
Class schedules are busy, so we try to fit around yours. We are at 20 Adelaide St E, close to King Station. We open early on weekdays, stay open into the evening on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and see patients on Saturdays. A first visit is an examination and usually a cleaning; see fees and insurance for how estimates work.
