See a dentist in Mandarin
Dr. Yi Wen (Amy) Zhao joins Adelaide Dental as an associate dentist and sees patients in Mandarin and in English. If you would rather describe a problem, hear the diagnosis and talk through your choices in Mandarin, we invite you to ask for her when you book.
A dental appointment involves decisions, such as whether to treat now or watch, which material to use, and what your plan will pay. Those are easier to make in the language you are most at home in, and you do not have to lose anything in translation.
About Dr. Zhao
Dr. Zhao earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto. She then completed a residency in general dentistry at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, New York. She takes time to listen, and she is mindful of patients who feel anxious in the dental chair. You can read more about her on our dentists page.

Booking with Dr. Zhao
You can see Dr. Zhao at the office on Thursdays and Saturdays. These days suit people who cannot leave work during the week, so they tend to fill first. It helps to book early, and to mention Mandarin when you do.
